Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Open Streets Knoxville!    We truly appreciate the help of our volunteers to make this FREE community event successful!  We are currently looking for volunteers for our 2018 Spring event,

Listed below are some of the volunteer positions we have available:

Zone Coordinators (ZCs):   ZCs are people we can trust with more responsibility.  ZCs arrive about 1.5 hours before the event.  Responsibilities include setting up the information booth, explaining to other volunteers their duties as they arrive, and being the lead volunteer at designated information booth during the event.   ZCs will meet with the Volunteer Coordinator prior to the event to inform them of their responsibilities and anything else pertinent to the event.

Information Booth Volunteers: Assigned to one of the information booths and responsible for answering any questions attendees may have during the event.

Mobile Volunteers: Walk around their respective zone throughout the event wearing a volunteer shirt, answering questions.  Also, checking in with activity providers to make sure they have everything they need.  Mobile volunteers working the last shift will assist with event break-down (information booths, collecting signs, and any other general clean-up tasks).
